Picture lock

This week will see the picture lock on the movie. The running time of the movie be be about 100 mins including credts. Composer Gabriel Currington and Bryan Larkin are working with Dale Corlett to complete to score for Christmas and Producer/Executive producer MarcTwynholm is writing and arranging some additional music for the for the film

Running on time

Running in Traffic will be completed on schedule in December 2008. The provisional picture is very close to being locked and with only a few pickups still remaining the estimated running time will be under 100 minutes.

Gabriel Currington scores the movie


Work is already underway on the film as established British film and TV composer Gabriel Currington produces the original score for Running in Traffic.
'Gabriels' talent as a musician and humainty as a will pronouce the major themes of this film', says Bryan Larkin. His appreciation and understanding of this film is more then a casual reminder to us all.
Gabriel is a well recognized figure in the industry, his numerous scores for Film & Television demonstrate his proven ability to work well with a broad range of producers and directors.With over seven years of professional experience, he has worked on over 70 productions, from feature films, to international television programmes. Credits for film include ‘Rulers & Dealers’ starring Freema Agyeman (Dr Who), ‘Splinter’ starring Nikolas Grace (An Ideal Husband, Daniel Deronda, Brideshead Revisited) and Paul Barber (The Full Monty, The 51st State, Only Fools and Horses) and ‘The Celestine Prophecy’ starring Thomas Kretschmann and Matthew Settle.Credits for television include BBC, Channel 4, Five, ITV, Discovery, TLC, Animal Planet, Nat Geo, Hallmark, and as well on RTS and BAFTA nominated films. He is published by EMI, with library albums with FTP media, Audio Network, Boosey & Hawkes and Cavendish music and has been a panel judge for music at the Bafta awards.

Post Production update

As of this week, there is a now a rough cut of the movie. So what!? But this is where the real work starts. The final push to complete the film is now underway and a few place cards are present where a few gaps need filled. Expect to see the trailer and other footage from the film out there in the world very seen, along with film stills and other material ahead of the films release in the not to distant future. But you will hear a lot more about it before then!

Quietly carving away

Although there has not been a lot of posting going on of late, things have been far from quiet. Running in Traffic is now well into post production and only weeks away from the first pass at the rough cut of the movie. The performances are glowing and the team are on schedule for the completion of the film for the years end.

In the cut

After several pain killing months, of hardship, highs and lows... Dabhand Films have cleared their slate for post production of Running in Traffic, the offical trailer will be released within the coming weeks and the movie will follow.
Already distributors and sales agents are wise to the cause and on standby for what lies ahead.
It's gonna happen folks, it's gonna happen, even if it kills us!

That's a wrap

On Sunday the 9th of March, three months to the day, Running in Traffic has wrapped. All pick ups are now in the can, or to be more accurate , safely backed up on 4 terrabytes of drive space. There shall now be a short intermission as everybody goes their separate ways, return to normality and some even go on holiday. Post production will commence in mid April. Let the games begin!

Principal Photography WRAPS!!!

On a freezing cold, rainy and windy night in the awe inspiring district of Summerston in Glasgow, Running in Traffic wrapped principal photography. Although there are still pickups to complete that amount to an additional four days, no animals were injured since shooting started on December 9th 07.

Over the coming weeks the film will be in post production at the Dabhand Films facility in GMAC. And expect to see a teaser trailer on the official website soon too...
